Amaco Glazes are truly of high quality. Their products are easy to use, too! Amaco Glazes offer a variety of colors and effects for electric and reduction firing. Many of their pottery glazes are lead free.
Amaco manufactures over 500 glazes, underglazes, and overglazes with firing ranges from Cone 022 to Cone 5. Many colors will also fire to Cone 10. Each glaze or underglaze series offers its own unique appearance giving the artist unlimited creative expression.
Most of Amaco glazes and underglazes are AP non-toxic. Which means, they are safe to use by just anyone. Like I’ve mentioned earlier, most are lead free! From low fire glazes to liquid glazes, ceramic pottery kilns to others, there’s a room for any artistic style.
Don’t forget, their website is at www.amaco.com. You can visit them for additional references. Actual photos are available, too! You can also call them at 800-374-1600 (accessible at 8am-5pm only!).
With regards to my previous post, I’ve received a couple of emails about them, so I decided to make a follow-up post to further discuss the iPod tagging feature of this product. Please be reminded that the HD Radio Receiver is not manufactured by Apple. They are what we call “third party” products.
This has already been tested by my friend who lives in the US. He used it on his car, and received Texas High Definition Radio stations (signal) with it. He even promised he would ship one for me as a birthday present, and I’m excited! But for now, we’ll have to stick first to some of his personal observations about this product. More information is also available at their home site.
To name a few, we have:
* More info on your dial, such as traffic data and stock info
* Real-time artist and song IDs
* Free of charge like radio should be
* New channels to play more of what you like to hear
* More talk and music from the stations you’re plugged into
* More complete sets and more full albums
* Receives and plays digital HD2 Multicast programming
* No subscription costs, no plans and no monthly bills
How cool is that?
At last. I’ve finally bought myself my very first Ipod! It’s an 80 gigger, actually. Big enough, eh? She’s only 2 months old, and my music library is still not that large, looking forward to filling up the free spaces. I still have about 60 gb more. Hmm. I think I’ve already synced most of my favorite songs. Although I enjoy my collection of songs on my Ipod, at times, I would still find myself listening to some new radio stations and learning their songs. But you know, once would never be enough to memorize the entire lyrics! Good thing I’ve found a high definition radio that uses iTunes Tagging. With this, you can go to the iTunes store and buy the song you’ve just heard from the radio there.
Major electronic retailers have them, in fact I found a few on Amazon and Target-both for the home and car. How does it work? You hear a song, hit the “tag” button and the radio saves the songs information not only on the receiver, but your iPod as well. Then you simply sync the iPod and go to the iTunes store to purchase the song. Great, right?
